    Lying just off our main lobby on the 38th floor, our Oriental Lounge forms the nucleus of the hotel. Meet friends or spend time on your own accompanied by stunning city views and a wonderful menu. We offer freshly brewed coffees, fresh fruit juices, cocktails and afternoon tea, as well as a selection of the finest liquors from around the world. Breakfast is served from 7am to 11am and offers two menus; a continental option and an American breakfast, called Power Breakfast. Refreshments are available all day and for lunchtime, we have a select menu featuring dishes from three of our talented chefs. In the evening, the lights are lowered and the sound of live music winds up the staircase from the dining floor below. Candles warm the mood whilst the spectacular city lights glitter through the floor to ceiling glass windows.

    For the ultimate Italian fare head to The Pizza Bar on 38th for sizzling pizzas created at your counter by our master pizza maker (pizzaiolo) and served straight from the brick oven. Highlights include classic Bufala, a celebration of simple traditional flavours made with fresh Buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil atop a perfectly baked organic pizza crust. Chef Daniele’s pizza dough is made with Italian organic flour using just one gram of yeast and 80% water for a 48-hour fermentation to create the very lightest and digestible crust. Pizzas are served on our trademark wooden board at an exclusive 8-seat marble top bar for an Italian twist on the classic Chef’s Table.

Situated within the chic Oriental Lounge on the 38th floor, dishes are served sushi-bar style and are complemented by magnificent views stretching out towards the Imperial Palace and Shinjuku district. Over the course of two hours, our team of talented chefs will prepare bite-sized delicacies right before your eyes, creating new textures and flavour combinations to stimulate both the imagination and the palate. Limited to a seating of only eight people per round, this is the ultimate gourmet experience. Advance reservations are required.

  • The Cellar

    Winding down a secretive spiral staircase from the Mandarin Bar, guests will discover a wine-cellar “in the sky”. This unique dining concept will transport diners to an authentic French dining environment. “à table!” is based on four-course gourmet menus from the South-West of France, Provence, Burgundy and Alsace. Our French table can accommodate 6 to 11 diners. Advance reservations are required. Dishes like foie gras terrine, cassoulet and choucroute will be served in traditional cast iron or clay pots. Guests can also delight in imported French butter, olive oil, sea salt and mustard, and “comme chez grand-mère”. Wine recommendations will be available at an additional charge. There will be four set regional menus including an aperitif and petit fours. Guests may order a bespoke selection from these menus when reserved in advance, by 6pm Tuesday for Saturday, Sunday or Monday, and by 6pm Friday for the following Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
